News & Accomplishments

  • Baldwin High School will participate in Michigan’s fourth annual College Application Week November 3 through November 7, 2014, with nearly 300 other Michigan high schools. The goal of the week is to give every graduating senior the opportunity to apply to college. During this event, students may apply to any of Michigan’s community colleges, independent colleges and universities, and state universities in which they are interested. Baldwin College Access Center will work with BHS seniors on November 4th-7th to complete and submit online at least one college application.  
  • Baldwin Promise was featured in segment called "Decision Day" on 9 & 10 News. (watch the video)
  • The Class of 2014 is working toward reaching a goal of 85% FAFSA completion rate. To-date, 82% of the graduating class has completed their FAFSAs. There is still time so get your FAFSA completed today! 
  • To-date, 95% of the graduating class of 2014 has been accepted to a 2-year or 4-year higher education institution. Students have been accepted to Western Michigan University, Oakland University, Madonna University, Saginaw Valley State University, Northern Michigan University, Ferris State University, Grand Valley State University, West Shore Community College, Lansing Community College, Oakland Community College, Northwestern Michigan College, Grand Rapids Community College, Muskegon Community College, Michigan Career and Technical Institute and Macomb Community College.
